April at Rocacorba Cycling - roll out the gate onto some of the best roads in Girona.
We're a few weeks into April and we wanted to share a little more about this month's partner - Rocacorba Cycling and what makes it such a special place to ride.
From their gate, you can roll straight into some of the most beautiful riding in the region. No traffic, no city navigation...just quiet roads, gravel options and climbs that both challenge and reward you. It's the kind of place where the riding feels effortless to access and yet anything but ordinary once you're out there.
To celebrate our partnership, we're featuring the Rocacorba Climb route this month - a challenging climb that tests your patience and rewards your effort with a stunning view over Banyoles.
If you've ever looked up the Rocacorba climb, you'll know it has a reputation.
It's the climb that gives the estate its name, and the one that defines the region. The approach takes you through the rolling Mieres loop before the road tilts upward and stays there. It's the kind of climb that rewards patience ... go out too hard and you'll likely pay the price on the later slopes. Settle into it, and it gives back.
At the summit, on a clear day, you can see Lake Banyoles stretching all the way towards the Mediterranean.
